Baptism Nov. 8, 2020
Norah Walton
I was born and raised in a Christian family, practicing Christian traditions such as praying, going to church, and celebrating Christian holidays, Easter and Christmas. Last summer, I went to a VBS and that VBS allowed me to accept Jesus fully into my heart. I thought it would be a better path for me. Getting baptized is giving me a chance to show people that I am a fully fledged Christian. I think it will help me pursue my faith in Christ and I think it will help me know Jesus better.

I am 10 years old. I grew up in a Christian home. Because I grew up in a Christian home, we often talked about Bible stories. We talked about Bible stories, but I didn’t really understand them. Until 6 years ago. I kept asking about a certain Bible story. I think it was Jesus’s death and resurrection.
I asked my Mom if I could become a Christian. She prayed with me. Later that night I became a Christian. Now I understand Bible stories really well and I know that Christ died for our sins. Since I understand I also helped bring my brother up to be a Christian.
So now I want to be baptized to strengthen my faith in God.
