- Does meekness appeal to you or not? Explain.
- What things are sources of pride to you? What about these things makes you proud? How do humility and pride fit together as you think about these things?
- How do you think God is calling you to think about the things that bring you pride?
- The apostle Paul never says he himself is meek. Read 1 Corinthians 4:21, 2 Corinthians 10:1, Galatians 6:1, Ephesians 4:2, 1 Timothy 6:11, 2 Timothy 2:25, Titus 3:2. How would you explain Paul’s writings on meekness and why he doesn’t call himself meek?
