Because Jesus, our great High Priest, has made a new and living way into the presence of God by his own blood, we have direct access to God and may approach the throne of grace with confidence that we will find grace and mercy in our time of need. Approaching God’s throne with confidence in what Jesus has done also means approaching humbly in repentance and with a contrite heart, for God will dwell with the contrite one.
