Texts: Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7, 18-25; John 17:20-26
- Have you ever considered the oneness (unity) of the Triune God in your understanding of human relationships? Why is the oneness of the Triune God essential to daily Faith? (Genesis creation)
- Why are healthy relationships to be valued over isolation? (Consider Jesus’ model of prayer in isolation as the exception.)
- How does unity and oneness (or lack of it) affect those in our Oikos who are not yet Christ-followers? (John 17:23)
- Why is it that sometimes, healthy relationships with other believers can be such a challenge? (Is it spiritual warfare?—note again Jesus’ prayer in John 17)
- Share your experiences of loneliness and broken relationships, and/or thriving relationships, and how these experiences have affected your walk with God.
- What, if anything, in today’s teaching from Pastor Tony was confusing or troublesome to you?
