Baptism July 11, 2021

Ariana Napoleonis

Hi, my name is Ari. Today is my 9th birthday. My twin sister and I were adopted. My birth mom loved me and I'm so glad she found a loving, Christian family for me.

We started coming to church when we were 3 weeks old. As I got older, I started to realize why we come to church. My Mom brought us to church to learn about God. I want to get baptized because I decided to follow Jesus the rest of my life. Jesus died for my sins and rose again. I always want to make the right decisions and He will help me with them. I want to live eternally with God.

My favorite verse is "Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light on my path." Psalm 119:105 Another verse I like is, "For God so loved the word, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

My Grandpa is here with me because he is special to me.

When I was 3 I asked Jesus to come into my heart. I want to be baptized because I want everyone to know that I am a Christian. Jesus told us in the Bible, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." John 3:3

I am thankful for my family and all that he has given me. He died for me and you and He rose again. That way it's possible for us to go to heaven. I can't wait to give Jesus a big hug when I get to heaven. I also can't wait to spread the news to others so that they can know about God and Jesus and go to heaven too. God is the one and only true God and King.

I'm glad I grew up in a Christian family. I'm excited that I accepted Christ into my heart on January 24, 2021. I'm so excited to have baptism with my Grandad. I'm so glad my whole family is a Christian, even my cousins.

I became a Christian when I was watching Elevation Church and I asked my family to pray with me and help me become a Christian. Then my family - dad, mom, and brother, prayed together and I asked Jesus into my heart. I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins because I was sinning a lot. I'm glad I have a family that loves me and was with me.

I want to serve Jesus because He is in my heart and all around. I'm glad that Jesus died on the cross for my sins so that I could become a Christian.

I want to be good and obedient. I'm glad I'm sometimes good and having fun with my brother and my family. I think jesus wants me to obey Him and make sure I can be a good person in my live. I'm so proud that I became a Christian. I don't know that I would be obedient if I did not have Jesus in my heart.

I want to listen to Jesus and keep focused on Him. I'm glad my family prayed with me so that I became a Christian.

My family is a powerful (make good dinners; planting good gardens) family and they take care of me very well.

I have a prayer to say:

Dear God, help me to keep my words to You and live for You. I'm so thankful that You know how many hairs are on my head and count the stars and You can do anything and You are everywhere. Thank you that you are the one and only God I know. Help me to keep my words shining on You that I may help Satan bet out of this world and never come back. God, thank You for this day and help me to show Your love to others. Work through me. Amen.

I am thankful that I was raised in a Christian family and that I became a Christian early in my life. I grew up in church, but I thought the Bible ws only stories about what Jesus and other people did in the Old and New Testaments. Now I realize the Bible is much more than that. The Bible has what Jesus did in his life, what you can do to be more like Him, end times and prophecy, psalms, advice and wisdom, and much more.

When I heard that Jesus could save you in your heart and forgive you of your sins to go to heaven, I asked more questions to learn more and then I understood and I wanted to accept His gift of salvation. And during that time, both of my grandpas were having surgeries and we were praying for them. When my parents prayed in helped; that made me realize that God was very strong. Our family always prays before meals and before we go to bed. I accepted Jesus into my heart when I wa  years old at church on February 7th, 2016.

I go to church every weekend and I love to learn how to be nicer to people, be respectful in everything I do, learn about the end times, and know more about Jesus. I have recently gone on Operation 717 and learned how to love God more. When I am speaking or saying something powerful, the Holy Spirit makes me more confident now that I am a Christian. At Crossover, I try to answer questions and interact with other people and the activities that they do. I read devotions every day to have a better relationship with God. I also listen to Christian music, watch Christian movies and read spiritual books to encourage, motivate, and make me a better person. To be prepared for when Jesus comes back, I want to know Him more and be more like Him before the rapture happens. This past Christmas, my aunt got me a Bible. I am realizing more and more how God can bring you through hardships and problems, but you need to ask Him for help to guide you through them. I love Jesus just as He loves me.

Baptism June 13, 2021

I was six I was sitting around a campfire in a field behind our house. It was dark and we had made smores. My mom and I were the only ones left around the fire and we were enjoying the warmth watching the stars when I started asking questions about accepting Jesus as my savior. We talked about how Jesus died on the cross to take my place and my sins so someday I can go to Heaven and be with him. It was that night that I accepted Christ into my life.

I had grown up attending LEFC my entire life and have a loving, Christian family, but it still wasn’t until middle school that I developed a greater realization of what it meant to be a Christian because I realized as I looked around me that I did not want to be like the world, rather I wanted to be like Christ. That mindset really changed how I lived my life from then on.

As I went through high school, I experienced many changes to my life and my lifestyle. With every new challenge presented, Christ was by my side. As every year passed, I looked back and saw how much I had grown spiritually, but with that realization of the growth also came a realization of how much room I had to keep growing.

I am being baptized because I want to share with the world that Jesus is my savior, but also that anyone can accept his love and mercy. Jesus has changed my life forever and by being baptized today I want to show through the baptism my new beginning in Christ. My worth, my value, who I am, is not found in myself, but rather it is found in my lord and savior Jesus Christ.
