CHILD DEDICATION
at LEFC
WHAT IS CHILD DEDICATION?
At LEFC, child dedication is a public recognition that each child is a gift from God and that parents are stewards of that gift. It is a time for parents to commit to raising their children in the ways of holiness as Scripture teaches, to nurture their heart to love the Lord, and to allow the body of Christ at LEFC to come alongside in the disciple-making process of their children.
It is also a time for the congregation to commit to assist the parents in raising their children to love Jesus by providing a Christian community of teaching, love, and relational support as God instructs through His Word.
WHEN IS CHILD DEDICATION?
LEFC holds several child dedications per year during Sunday morning services. Our next child dedication is scheduled for April 26, 2026.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
SERVICE CHOICE: You may select to have your child dedicated during 1st or 2nd service. We will do our best to honor your request, but space is limited, so don't delay in signing up!
PARENTS' MEETING: We will hold a parents' meeting with Pastor Tony on Wednesday, April 22, from 6:30-7:30PM in the main auditorium. Please make every effort to attend. Kids Ministry is available for your children if needed!
PHOTOS: During your child's dedication, we will project a collage of photos on the big screen. Please send 5 or 6 photos (individual shots of your child, as well as family photos) to Ross Unruh at office@lefc.net by April 20. Each photo should be 1 MB or larger.
