CORE BELIEFS FAQs

What is Core Beliefs? We live in a world of uncertainty and division. That's why we created Core Beliefs. This summer, while ABFs take a break, Core Beliefs is a great opportunity to meet new people from across our congregation as we learn together. A team of teachers will walk through our Statement of Faith: what we believe, why it matters, and how it holds us together.

Do I need a theological background? Not at all. This is for everyone: new believers, lifelong churchgoers, and people still figuring out what they think. Bring your questions and your doubts.

What will the class be like? Every morning will include times of teaching and table discussion. Every class will end with time set aside for group Q&A, so come curious!

Will I know anyone in the class? Maybe, but you don't need to. We expect attendees from across the congregation, so it's a natural place to meet new folks and others you wouldn't normally cross paths with at LEFC.

Can my family attend together? Yes, we would actually encourage it. This is one of LEFC's rare opportunities for genuine inter-generational conversation about life’s big questions.

Can a Life Group or ABF go through this together? Absolutely! It's actually a great way to keep momentum going through the summer.

Is this only for LEFC members? Everyone is welcome. Whether you've been at LEFC for thirty years or you’re a recent visitor, there's a seat at this table for you.

Core Beliefs will be offered during both services times, 9AM and 10:50AM, throughout the summer while our regular ABFs are on a break.

DATES | Sundays, June 7 - August 30 (excluding Family Worship Sunday on July 5)

TIMES | Join us at 9AM or 10:50AM

LOCATION | Room A1/A2
